It is with a heavy heart that we announce we will no longer be updating Aotg.com. Back in 2007, when we started, there was a lack of access to information about film, television, and commercial editing. We wanted to fix that by creating a central location for content about editing to be stored.

Since then, we've watched the amount of content about editing on the internet grow exponentially. We've also watched social media tools come and go with that growth. Does anyone remember Google Wave!? These social media tools changed how people access and search for media and information. People tend to turn to Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, and Instagram for their news and information, and those are all great tools to promote your sites, but as a site that aggregates links to other sites for users, it just doesn't work for us.

We will keep the site live but archive the ability to add links and comments. We will keep our database live with the links for those who desire to use it to search for editing information and research.

Our podcast, The Cutting Room, will move over to the Filmmakeru.com website and will continue to be a place for interviews with editors and other film professionals.

Everyone who worked for Aotg.com loved what we created and are proud that we could help so many editors find content that spoke to them.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the various post events worldwide in the coming years!

Blackmagic Design today announced that live action production and visual effects (VFX) company SoKrispyMedia recently completed work on its newest viral video, “Trapped in a First Person Video Game,” using DaVinci Resolve Studio 18 editing, color grading, VFX and audio post production software, along with Blackmagic Cloud.

Blackmagic Design today announced that the web series “Incoming: Words of War” was shot using Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 digital film camera and edited and graded using DaVinci Resolve Studio editing, grading, visual effects (VFX) and audio post production software. The incredibly powerful series tells the story of seven Australian soldiers and has been nominated for 30 awards at film festivals around the world.

Alone With You Horror Film Shot with Blackmagic Design Cameras and Edited with DaVinci Resolve Studio

Blackmagic Design today announced that the horror film “Alone With You” was captured in Blackmagic RAW using Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 and Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K digital film cameras. Shot almost entirely in a single, small location, the independent thriller was edited and graded with DaVinci Resolve Studio editing, color grading, visual effects (VFX) and audio post production software to help create mounting tension and uncertainty.

Blackmagic Design today announced the Ion Network’s new Christmas film, Christmas Down Under, was shot using Blackmagic Design’s URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2. The film’s editing and color correction was completed using DaVinci Resolve Studio by Tasmania’s South Sky pictures during the height of the Covid quarantine.

Blackmagic Design announced today that photographer/DoP Kazunali Tajima shot fashion brand kolor's Spring Summer 2022 Collection with Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 digital film cameras. Shot on multiple URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2s mounted on robotic arms, the film was graded in DaVinci Resolve Studio and shown online at Paris Fashion Week in July 2021.

The hour plus immersive concert, which has been watched by millions around the world, could be viewed in 2D as well as inside a VR world where customers could mingle with avatars of other fans from around the world.
