The Sony FS5 and PXW-Z150 will receive a firmware upgrade this summer adding HDR support to the cameras. Following BT.2020 & BT.2100 specifications, it adds support for Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) and Rec. 2020 color space. Let’s delve into what that means.

Not to be outdone, Sony is introducing its entry to the mirrorless, full-frame camera market with the Sony A7s. The Sony A7s was originally cost around US$3,450 however, a price of $2,499 was announced today.

Adorama will be hosting an exclusive FREE demo event of the new Sony PMW F-5 on Thursday March 21st at 6pm at Adorama's new event space at 55 West 17th Street, between 5th and 6th avenue. Director of Digital Cinema at Adorama Rental Company Daniel Gurzi will give an in-depth presentation on the highly anticipated camera, with a Q&A session following for attendees to ask any additional questions.
