Reaction to Final Cut Pro X: cries of discontent

There's a lot of angry people out there. Final Cut Pro X has disappointed many of the Pro editors and the atmosphere is poisonous. A few positive voices can be heard amongst an ocean of despair. Is the criticism justified - or are many editors simply adverse to change? The coming weeks and months will reveal a great deal.
