Sardi Pax offers a look into how one would go about animating a cord or string’s oscillating vibrations, as if it were plucked or struck. In Sardi’s example he uses the cord of a crossbow, but this will also work for a guitar string or any cord that is contained on both ends. Sardi starts off by using Blender’s ShapeKeys as the premise for the animation.
