Visual Effects Society to Present Syd Mead with it

The Visual Effects Society (VES) announced that acclaimed futurist and visual effects artist Syd Mead will receive the organization’s visionary award in recognition of his enormous contributions to visual arts and filmed entertainment. The award will be presented at the 14th Annual VES Awards on Feb. 2, 2016 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
