Univision taps Neal for sports post

Univision has named former NBC Sports exec producer David Neal as senior veep of sports production and exec producer. Neal, who left NBC after 30 years in 2010 to form his own shingle, will now also oversee production for Univision sports properties across all platforms, leading up to the April debut of a 24-hour sports network (with the working title of Univision Deportes).
