SanDisk Completes Acquisition of Smart Storage

SanDisk, the Milpitas-based maker of flash memory storage products, said on Thursday it has completed its $307 million acquisition of Newark-based Smart Storage Systems, a developer of enterprise solid state drives. The deal first was announced in early July.
