Scanline VFX has grown its global VFX supervision team with the addition of visual effects veterans Derek Spears and Nic Aithadi. Spears joins Scanline as visual effects supervisor in Los Angeles. LOS ANGELES — Global VFX house Dneg (www.dneg.com) has appointed executive visual effects supervisor Bryan Godwin to its LA team. The former founder and CEO of Shade VFX has more than a hundred shows to his credit, including recent productions such as the Charlie Kaufman film, I’m Thinking of Ending Things, Sonic the Hedgehog and the award-winning Joker.
