Academy adds 842 new members

LOS ANGELES — The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences has added 842 new members from 59 countries. Fifty percent of the new members are women, and 29 percent are people of color. The new class includes 21 Oscar winners and 82 Oscar nominees. For a complete list of the new members, visit the Academy Website.
